Kingdom Quest VBS!

July 18, 19, 20

Morning Session: 9:00-12:00

Evening Session: 6:00-8:30 (light supper included)

Ages: Rising 5k through rising 6th grade

Travel back in time to medieval days as we train to become knights in the Kingdom of Gracealone! We will follow the story of Johnathan, a young priest who was forbidden to come before the king until his muddy clothes were cleaned.  The characters of RC Sproul's book, The Priest with Dirty Clothes, will pop in for a visit during our story time each day to help us understand Johnathan's predicament. Come and find out how the good news that Johnathan discovers is good news for us too!

Using "Show Me Jesus", a biblically sound curriculum from Great Commission Publications, children ages 2 through 4th grade are encouraged to see God's redemptive plan of love and grace throughout the Old and New Testaments. 5th graders are studying the names of God and what those names reveal about His character!

Before worship service, remember to take your child to the breadbox located on the Children's Worship Table just outside of the sanctuary. There will be an object inside the box that will help children connect with the morning message. The "mini message" inside the breadbox is meant to be a tool that can assist parents in helping children understand the main point of the sermon. Children's bulletins for non-readers are also located on the Children's Worship Table.

If you would like to prepare your child for worship during the week, consider getting an early peek at the music and scriptures that will be used in the upcoming service. (CLICK HERE to download this week's bulletin). The order of worship notes will be updated regularly and made available on the web page by Thursday of each week.

Kids' Quest

Wednesday Evenings 6:30 PM-7:30 PM, (Winter/Spring sememster is January 11-April 5, 2017)

Kids' Quest is a club that has been designed to teach children biblical truths while participating in fun activities.  Biblical foundations are strengthened as children study answers to the First Catechism through music, games, crafts and more.  There are classes for children who are two years old on or before September of the current school year through children who are in the fifth grade.

Providing a safe environment for our children to learn and grow in is important to us.CLICK HERE to read our LPC Child Protection Policy and Procedures Handbook.

CAMP ....(CAtechism Memory Program)

CAMP is a program designed to assist parents in teaching Biblical truths to their children by encouraging the study and memorization of answers to the First Catechism questions at home.  Two times are set aside each year for children to come and recite what they have learned.  Those who complete their goals at the time of final review are given rewards.

Catechism questions are broken down into four sections so that those who begin the CAMP program when they are 4 years old will have the opportunity to go through the entire First Catechism twice before entering 7th grade.
