Giving

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. - 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (ESV)

We believe that part of the Christian life is freely and generously giving away some of our money for the good of others. We are happy to provide three ways you can give to support the life and ministry of Lexington Presbyterian Church.

  1. In Person. We understand our tithes and offerings as joyful acts of obedience to God, and so we have a time for tithes and offerings in all of our worship services. You are always welcome to worship with us on a Sunday and give during that time.

  2. Mail. If you can't make it to a Sunday service you can mail your tithes or offerings to Lexington Presbyterian Church, 246 Barr Rd, Lexington, SC 29072.

  3. Electronic.

Direct Donations from an IRA At the close of 2015 lawmakers approved the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act. A provision of this Act made permanent Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from individual retirement accounts. This is superb news for Christians looking to support their favorite missions and congregations in a tax advantaged way. More information.
