CAMP: Catechism & Scripture Memory Program

Listening to children quote their catechismChildren ages 2 and up are eligible to be part of the CAMP program! In this program, children study catechism and scriptures with their parents at home. Twice a year, they recite what they have learned to our catechism listeners. Those who meet their goals at the end of the school year are invited to attend a day of celebration at the Water Park. Children in grades 3-5 are eligible to receive $150.00 scholarships to attend summer camp at Ridge Haven during the LPC summer camp week. Younger children and those who choose not to attend summer camp are awarded $25.00 gift certificates to The Family Christian Book Store. The Wednesday evening club, Kids' Quest, has been designed to support this program by teaching the same catechism questions and scriptures that children are learning at home.

Children will be responsible for "Year Two" memory requirements during the 2010-2011 school year. Go to the bottom of this page to find links to "Year Two" requirements for each age group. The hymn and song requirements have been eliminated from the memory work. Please make note of this change when you see reference to songs to be memorized.
