Children's Ministries
The Preschool Sunday Morning Program
Children are a high priority at LPC. We believe that the home and church must work together to teach them about the things of Christ. The Children's Ministry of LPC includes children from birth through 5th grade and is designed to assist parents in bringing up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We would love to have your child join us for our various programs!
Kids' Quest
Kids' Quest is a Wednesday night catechism and scripture memory club for children ages 2 through 4th grade. Children enjoy music, games, and fun activities that encourage learning God’s truths! Click here for more information.
CAMP

Sunday Morning Curriculum
Using "Show Me Jesus", a biblically sound curriculum from Great Commission Publications, children ages 2 through 6th grade are encouraged to see God's redemptive plan of love and grace throughout the Old and New Testaments.
Preparing Children for Worship
Review the order of worship for this coming Sunday (click here to see this week's order in the bulletin on the Barr Road Worship page) so that you can familiarize your child with the songs, hymns, scripture, etc. that will be included during the worship hour. The order of worship notes will be updated regularly and made available on the web page by Thursday of each week.
Before worship service, remember to take your child to the breadbox located on the Children's Worship Table just outside of the sanctuary. There will be an object inside the box that will help children connect with the morning message. The "mini message" inside the breadbox is meant to be a tool that can assist parents in helping children understand the main point of the sermon. Children's bulletins for nonreaders are also located on the Children's Worship Table.
Kingdom Quest Day Camp/VBS
What a wonderful time we had at our Kingdom Quest Day Camp at Lexington Intermediate School! A list of the songs that we sung during our days in the "Kingdom of Gracealone" are listed below. Click on the song's name to go to a link where the CD may be purchased. The CD that we used for the song "Grace Flows Down" is no longer available for purchase. There are several good versions of this song that can be downloaded from the iTunes store for 99 cents.
